As part of strengthening academic relations and institutional openness to international parliamentary experiences, Head of Mekin Academic Center for Conferences, Sustainable Studies & Scientific Consultations, Dr. Cetin Raouf conducted an official visit to the Turkish Parliament in Ankara, where he held a formal meeting with Turkish Member of Parliament Suleiman Tok.
The center reviewed that the visit aimed to explore the Turkish parliamentary experience, examine legislative processes and decision-making mechanisms, and discuss Mekin highlighted the role of elected institutions in supporting political stability and sustainable development, as well as their impact on academic and research pathways.
The center also reviewed that the meeting featured an in-depth dialogue on the importance of strengthening cooperation between academic institutions and legislative bodies, highlighting the role of scientific research in supporting public policy and promoting a culture of institutional dialogue based on knowledge and strategic planning.
It is significant to mention that both sides emphasized the significance of continuing such academic engagements, given their role in exchanging expertise, expanding intellectual cooperation, and building shared visions that contribute to serve societies and strengthen the role of institutions in shaping the future.
