The Head of Mekin Academic Center for Conferences, Sustainable Studies and Scientific Consultations, headquartered in Isparta, Turkey signed an academic and scientific cooperation agreement with the President of Ajloun National University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in line with contemporary academic orientations aimed at strengthening applied scientific research, supporting sustainability concepts, digital transformation, and the development of business environments and the knowledge-based economy.
The center said that the agreement seeks to establish an institutional partnership based on scientific integration, exchange of expertise, and the organization of specialized academic activities, contributing to the advancement of research outputs, enhancement of academic performance and strengthen the role of academic institutions in addressing contemporary economic and technological challenges.
Mekin highlighted that the agreement includes enhancing scientific and academic cooperation in the fields of conferences, sustainable studies, and digital transformation, supporting the organization of scientific conferences and symposiums with local and international dimensions, developing research related to sustainable development, building the capacities of researchers, faculty members, and postgraduate students, and supporting strategic studies related to institutional governance.
The center added that the cooperation also includes organizing scientific conferences, symposiums, and specialized workshops, conducting joint research and studies in business administration, digital economy, information systems, and financial technologies, implementing advanced training and qualification programs for faculty members and researchers, and cooperating in publishing scientific outputs, conference proceedings, and peer-reviewed journals.
Mekin reviewed that the agreement further covers the exchange of scientific and consultancy expertise in quality assurance, accreditation, and academic rankings, participation in regional and international research initiatives of mutual interest, exchange of postgraduate programs at the master’s and doctoral levels according to agreed specializations, and the provision of academic training services across various disciplines.
Both parties affirmed that this agreement represents a strategic step toward expanding joint academic cooperation, enhancing institutional integration, and supporting sustainable development goals while strengthening academic presence at both regional and international levels.
